Claire Hanlon is a human woman and writer. She received her BFA in studio art and a long time later went back to school for Library and Information Science. It seems that she may be a graduate student forever! She works as a hospice billing specialist.

Claire spent her childhood moving frequently between the various islands and nations of Oceania. She has lived in Indonesia, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, California, Montana, and now Texas, which wasn’t the original plan but is totally fine. She is interested in road kill, mortuary anthropology, archives, speculative fiction, and dessert. She lives with her husband, son, three cats, a dog, and a whisker collection.
